RJS Carpets is an independent family-run business, based in Birmingham and built on knowledge, experience and customer satisfaction.

Website Design

Although RJS Carpets had a presence on Googe My Business, Facebook and Instagram, they did not have their own website. Like many local tradespeople, having a website is key to success for local businesses, whether you’re a builder, an electrician or a property maintenance company.

After an initial meeting with them, to understand their business and goals for the website, I conducted my usual thorough review of their sector and competition. I then set about developing a look and feel for the website design, a site structure and a keyword strategy which I hope will propel them to a good ranking on Google.

Drawing upon the colours of their logo, I created a professional-looking website, that both conveys trust through the use of service-specific frequently asked questions and shows many examples of their work for each of their key services.

The website design needed to clearly reflect their brand identity and be clean and easy to navigate.

Search Engine Optimisation

The carpet and vinyl flooring industry is a very competitive space and for RJS Carpets to stand out, I did a lot of research into their keywords and competitor analysis to maximise the power of local SEO.

Working with them, we drew up a list of keywords and phrases we wanted to target and built the structure of the website around them.

As with all my clients, I will conduct one and three-month reviews to see how the site is ranking for local searches on Google and make further suggestions for how the site’s local SEO strategy can be further developed. 

Mobile Optimised

The website is fully optimised for mobile and tablet devices.
