Project Overview

Stride Physiotherapy provides specialist physiotherapy for older adults in Solihull and the surrounding areas, with treatment delivered in patients’ homes. Its services focus on supporting mobility, strength, balance and independence.

The business previously had a single page on Wix. It needed a more comprehensive website to explain its full range of services and give prospective patients a clearer understanding of the support available.

This was my second website for the client, following my work on Forever Active, which provides strength and balance classes for older adults. The Stride project continued that relationship, with a focus on presenting its specialist physiotherapy services in a professional, approachable way.

My Approach

I expanded the website around Stride’s core service areas: older adult physiotherapy, preparation for surgery, rehabilitation after surgery, neurological physiotherapy and pain management. Dedicated pages give each service room to explain who it is for and how Stride can help.

The content structure also allows visitors to explore more specific concerns, such as balance problems, reduced mobility and recovery after a hospital stay. This helps patients, relatives and carers find information relevant to their circumstances.

Visually, the website combines deep green branding, clear headings and photography of physiotherapy sessions to create a reassuring presentation. The home visit service is prominent from the outset, helping visitors understand that treatment can take place in familiar surroundings.

Trust was another key consideration. Information about Richard’s experience, professional registration and patient reviews helps visitors get to know the person behind the business before making contact.

I structured the service content with a clear focus on Solihull and nearby areas, providing a foundation for relevant local searches.
