SEO stands for Search Engine Optimisation. But what does that mean? And what does search engine optimisation entail? In short, SEO is all about getting website traffic and achieving high search result rankings organically. By organic, we mean without paying for web traffic via pay-per-click ads, among other methods. Within SEO, there’s a wide variety of strategies to accomplish the this — some of which are more effective than others. This could be anything from developing website content around keywords related to your industry to maintaining a strong presence across multiple social media platforms. SEO practices and strategies are constantly changing to remain effective as internet search engines continuously update algorithms.

To answer this question I would need to know more information about your business. I can tell you one thing though, from my 20+ years of working on SEO campaigns, I believe the biggest reason why most campaigns fail, is that the company fails to properly assess the amount of work required to get you a great result and ROI. That being said, my on-going SEO packages start from £100 per month for the basic option with no-contract (although a minimum period of 3 months may be required to see real results) or I can develop bespoke one-off SEO packages based around the needs of your business.

To answer this question depends greatly on where your website stands today, what SEO has been done before, and what your competition levels are like. As a general rule of thumb, most websites that rank on page 2 can be brought to the first page inside 3 months. As for a brand new website, you’re looking closer to 6+ months to get a first page ranking as long as you're not targeting very competitive keywords. During that time your leads and traffic will increase gradually and regularly, but the big wins are once you hit the top half of the first page.

I will get you to the best possible position for your market, and increase your business leads with new organic traffic. From my 20+ years of SEO experience, I believe it’s better to focus on ranking your business for the right keywords and phrases rather than just chasing the number one top spot in Google. If being number one is possible for the right keywords, then I’ll give it everything to get you there.

Everything I do with your SEO is permanent, long term and in line with SEO best practice, however with time your competition may work to out-rank you. If this happens after your campaign ends, simply give me a call and we can work on strategy to fix it. And Google does, of course, change the rules every so often, so new strategies and a re-focus may be required.

SEO isn't easy and unfortunately there are a lot of people out there who offer SEO services who do not posess the specific skill set to the do the job correctly. There are also some people who employ practices that Google actively penalises. I do SEO the right way and the results will hopefully speak for themselves.

No one can guarantee you to rank number one on Google. While some SEO companies guarantee a number one ranking, Google ultimately makes that decision, and no SEO company has that kind of special relationship with Google. If anyone does guarantee you nunmber one spot on Google, that should be sign enough to give them a wide berth. My guarantee is that nobody will work harder to get you the rankings you deserve.

I always build my websites on best practice SEO principles, however, the build of your website does not include on-going, monthly SEO. All items that I add to your website including text, photos and video can be seen by Google and I will optimise this for you but that doesn’t mean you will automatically rank number one.

I work with all types of businesses – new business start ups, small to medium sided businesses, businesses in Sutton Coldfield and beyond. I've worked on SEO for plumber's websites, SEO for psychologist's websites and even SEO for portable toilet hire websites. I am excited to work and help guide any business that is passionate about taking their first steps into an online presence and making their vision come to life.

Local search engine optimisation is a part of SEO that focuses on improving a local business’ visibility in local search engine results. The results that appear in local search results typically answer a “near me” intended question, meaning that the person is searching for something in a particular town or city - or the search engine has understood that there were geographic constraints to the search. By using local search optimisation strategies, businesses can improve their visibility in these local search results for terms related to their business and their products or services.

Nearly half of all Google queries today are local searches. Even when someone performs a typical daily search, the chances that Google shows local businesses nearby remains high. In an attempt to best meet the needs of its users, Google started providing more results for geographically-related searches based on:

Proximity
Relevance
Prominence

That means, if your business is close to where someone is conducting their search, offers services or products they may be searching for, and has optimised local business listings, then you’re more likely to be found by potential customers online.
