City College Birmingham student intranet

This is the latest - and greatest - incarnation of the student intranet for City College Birmingham.

As with the previous version, it maintains a strong corporate identity and provides the students with a wealth of useful information.

However as this site is built using Microsoft Sharepoint 2007, it also empowers the various teams in the college to maintain their own sections as via the easy content management elements of Sharepoint. After suitable training, many members of staff are able to not only maintain their section but develop it with the addition of surveys, discussion boards, blogs and wikis.

As part of the wider SOLE initiative, this site is a really powerful online solution for the 30,000 or so students of City College.
