SOLE and MySite

SOLE is City College Birmingham's massive new Student Online Learning Environment.

It offers students online access to the majority of services and information they will need during their time at college,

As well as access to a college email account, they can access Studinet, the content management driven student intranet, Moodle, the online learning environment and MySite, their own college related Facebook-like personal site where they can upload documents, photos, videos and all manner of things.

It has been an enormous undertaking to get the number of different student-facing systems talking to and integrating with each other on a scale that the college has never know before.
