andrew lowry web design is based in Sutton Coldfield in the West Midlands but I began designing websites whilst living in Japan during the late 1990's. This developed into a successful web design company under the name of '246 design'.
We produced websites for the local city government, small businesses and others. We were even featured on local and national television - take a look at some examples of our web design work in the portfolio section.
Since returning to the UK after six years in Japan, I've taken on the full time position of web developer at City College Birmingham. This has opened up a great deal more work with databases, secure log ins and an even greater emphasis on accessibility, usability and standards compliancy.
In addition to my work there, I continue to develop websites for local businesses and individuals in the Sutton Coldfield and West Midlands area. These range from building sites from scratch to adding extra value to existing web sites with the addition of database integration either for e-commerce purposes or such features as a "members only" secure log in sections.
